Shri Anand Prakash Sharma, along with his sons and brothers, transitioned from manufacturing crushers and Khandsari to paper and paperboard production in the late 1980s. In 1990, they established ANAND DUPLEX PVT. LTD. at 9th Km., Mawana Road, Village Saini, Meerut, to manufacture KRAFT PAPER using agricultural products like Baggasse, Wheat Straw, and Old Gunny Bags. The first unit began operations in May 1991 with an initial capacity of 15 MT per day (5400 MT per annum). In 1995, a second unit was established at the same location to manufacture DUPLEX BOARD, with an installed capacity of 50 MT per day (18,000 MT per annum). The company owns a total land area of 67,000 Square Yards for both units. The second unit also features a 2 MW turbine for in-house power generation.
