For 40 years, our family owned fashion accessories company has been dedicated to creating beautiful and unique pieces that are made to be enjoyed. Our passion for quality and sustainability is reflected in every piece that we create, as we only use the finest natural materials responsibly sourced mainly from the Philippines. Aplaya was started by our founder, who had a deep love for fashion and attention to detail. She began by handcrafting unique accessories using leather, wood, shellcraft and other natural materials. Her dedication to quality and craftsmanship quickly caught the attention of international fashion savvy and earth conscious customers, fueling the growth of the company. Today, Aplaya is run by our founder’s daughter, Josefina Mercedes “Jewel” Capistrano, and her team of skilled artisans who continue to carry on with creating beautiful and sustainable fashion accessories.
