Aurio Pharma Laboratories was established in the year 1972 to produce liquid pharmaceuticals in the city of Kolkata. The founder Late Mr. Ramlal Bhattacharejee was a man of honour, integrity and determination. He hailed from a humble background in East Pakistan, presently Bangladesh. But due to his sheer motivation he challenged all the obstacles and promoted a liquid pharmaceutical manufacturing Company known as INDO PAK Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd. back then at Barisal (now in Bangladesh). But post 1965 he had to wrap up all his hard-earned established empire in Bangladesh and had to move to India, (Kolkata). A man who started from scratch and reached the epitome of success again went back to the roots. But despite all pull downs he never stopped believing in himself. Again he made a dynamic comeback and established Aurio Pharma Laboratories in the year 1972. Gassanol was the first brand that was started in this unit. Even post 49 years Gassanol is going strong and having a steady demand in the market. At present Aurio Pharma Laboratories is Eastern India’s one of the most renowned pharmaceutical Industry. It has two state of the art Manufacturing units both equipped to produce more than 200 varieties of pharmaceutical products. Ranging from Anti-Biotics , Anti–Allergies, Cough Syrups, Calcium tablets, Vitamin pills, Iron deficiency syrups etc. The company products are marketed in India by its strong field force of more than 200 marketing executives. They represent the company to more than 15000 doctors. Moreover the field executives have built a strong network of more than 500 dealers and 50000 retailors. The company also manufacturers API’s (active pharmaceutical ingredients) with the help of its talented and advanced in-house laboratory setups. Aurio has also been one of the steady suppliers of medicine for Government Agencies, Health Departments and Hospitals for various states across India. Retail is the newest venture of Aurio. Presently we are operating a Fair Price Medicine Shop in Joynagar. It was the dream of our founder to reduce the sufferings of mankind, to make quality services available in dispensing medicines and other healthcare articles at a reasonable cost to the suffered people of the society. With this in our mind we carry our journey forward and aim to achieve excellence in the healthcare business, globally, through “customer satisfaction” by maintaining high standard of safety, quality, productivity and innovation.
