A Joint Venture between Astra Microwave Products Ltd (AMPL), India and Rafael Advanced Defense Systems Ltd, Israel, ARC is India's first private sector military grade Software Defined Radio (SDR) manufacturing facility, spread across an area of 48,000 sq. ft. The plant in Hardware Tech-Park, Hyderabad will produce of high-end state-of-the-art Tactical Radio Communication Systems to include SDR, EW and SIGINT systems in the country. ARC is engaged in India in indigenous development, production and integration of high-end digital communication systems which will include a wide range of technologies and products like SDR, ESM and Cognitive Radio technology. The ARC facility is a significant step in empowering the Security Forces, be a building block for creation of a strong defence industrial base with potential for employment generation, global exports and forging the way fo an indigenous ecosystem in support of Atma Nirbhar Bharat.
