AVK Valves India Pvt Ltd., is a subsidiary of AVK group, a privately-owned Danish company. In 1941 A age V aldemar K jær started producing compressors and performing plumbing services with no expectations of a large company or many employees. Now, AVK employees more than 4,300 people worldwide and has a turnover of 773 million Euro as an international industrial group with production units, sales companies, agents and license partners in more than 100 countries and we actively distribute our products worldwide. Our primary focus is on producing ductile iron valves for water transmission and distribution, irrigation, water below ground, water treatment, dams and reservoirs, firefighting, wastewater treatment and natural gas. We currently have factories all over the world and our standard product line-up ranges from 32 mm service isolation valves for gas to 3500 mm butterfly valves used in transmission lines and high dams. By request, we can produce valves larger than this and we pride ourselves in providing the optimal solution for our customers. Looking at the huge potential in the Indian market AVK started formal operations in India in 2005 by establishing a sales network and this was supplemented by the establishing of AVK India Pvt Ltd in 2008 with its corporate headquarters and manufacturing/assembly facility in Bangalore:AVK Valves India Pvt Ltd, No.112, Nosigere Village, KIADB Industrial area, 3rd Phase, Malur, Kolar, Karnataka – 563130. Sales are carried out directly to EPC Contractors as well as through distributors in India. AVK manufactures valves that adhere to all major international standards for valves, using high quality materials and utilizing advanced and automated production techniques. AVK India understands the Indian water market and actively participates as a solution provider for water supply system, by visiting departments across India and take up pilot projects and improve the present systems. From local to global In 1941, Aage Valdemar Kjær established AVK as a local machine shop. His guiding principles were quality, continuity and close customer relations.
