Blast Abrasives is a unique production facility built for manufacture and distribution of industrial abrasive media like steel shot and steel grit. The company is situated in South Veerapandypuram, Tuticorin in Tamilnadu. Blast Abrasives manufactures a range of Grit from Mineral slag which converts into Copper Slag during the smelting and quenching process in the Copper Smelter. We also manufacture a variety of grits used in blasting of which Blast Abrasives copper slag grit is one of the cheapest and commonly used materials as grit for blasting. The product is available mainly in three grades to enable the user to choose the correct grade based on requirement of the cleanliness level required by the International standards.Our product is approved by various international bodies, Shipyards, Oil & Gas companies, Coating Contractors and Tank builders. This factory is one of the kind in the southern part of India and presence of Tuticorin harbour in our close proximity ensures economic transportation to other parts of the country and rest of the world as well.Finer quality is ensured by the use of various machineries to achieve precise standards in hardening, tempering, crushing and screening to meet the International standards stipulated for steel abrasives. We have also facilitated production of special grade steel grits used exclusively for the Granite cutting Industry. The factory also boasts of one of the best metallurgical laboratories in the industry with most advanced testing instruments.
