Description

Canpex Chemicals Pvt. Ltd. Is the flagship company and is the world's largest manufacturer of Guanidine Nitrate having production capacity of 4,800 TPA. This product is mainly exported to South Africa, Belgium, Japan and South Korea. The company started with manufacturing of Ammonium Nitrate with specific demand from mining industry. Later Canpex went into product diversification by commencing production of Guanidine Nitrate. The plant for this product was based on Batch process and having a capacity of 600 tonnes per annum (TPA). Gradually the production capacity of Guanidine Nitrate was increased and it started being exported in large quantities. After a major mishap at out factory near Pune, We built the plant at a new location on "Continuous Process" basis. In addition, the company went for fully automated plant with all necessary control loops, interlocks and back-up provisions. The new plant was commissioned in 2002.
