Nayak, a Businessman, with view of utilizing bio waste material, i.e. cashew nut shell, to produce many industrially useful products such as CNSL, Cashew Cake, Friction dust, CSNL resin, etc. In 2022, new partner Mrs. Soumya Kamath joined the firm as other three partners retired from the firm. Since October 2022, Dr. R. G. Nayak & Mrs. Soumya Kamath are the partners of the Cashitron Industries with 50% shares. Cashew Nut Shell Liquid (CNSL) is extracted from the cashew nut shells during the processing cashew nuts to obtain edible kernel. The firm produces cashew nut shell liquid CNSL Oil, CNSL Resin (liquid) Friction dust (CNSL solid resin) and cashew cake as by product and is a pioneer in promoting the chemicals from cashew nut waste.
