Operation
The process begins with the loading of dry powders into the mixing bowl. The **main impeller** rotates at high speed to mix the powders uniformly while the **chopper** assists in breaking agglomerates and controlling granule size. The **binder solution** is sprayed or added during mixing to promote granulation.
Once the desired granule size is achieved, the mass is discharged through a pneumatically operated bottom outlet into a Fluid Bed Dryer or container. The process is fully controlled through a **PLC-based control panel** ensuring accuracy, reproducibility, and operator safety.
Applications
- Pharmaceutical granulation for tablet formulation
- Nutraceutical powder and granule blending
- Food and confectionery mixing
- Chemical and cosmetic formulations
- R&D, pilot scale, and large batch production
