EVEREST PAPER MILLS PVT. LTD. (EPM) is the pioneer manufacturer of various grades of Writing & Printing paper in the kingdom of Nepal. Established in 1982 at Mahendranagar, Dhanusha District, JanakpurDham, Nepal, it was the first paper manufacturing unit in the country. EPM is an agricultural residue-based mill using various combinations of wheat straw, rice straw, bagasse, Jute, and waste paper as raw material. The present operating capacity of the plant is 30 metric tonnes per day. EPM's products are at par with national and international standards, with a well-equipped laboratory for testing. The company has held a license for the National Quality Certification Mark (NS-Mark) for its writing and printing paper since 1992.
