Description

Stagnant pools help mosquito larvicides to proliferate causing malaria epidemic. Larvicides, however need oxygen for their survival which can be prevented by providing an impregnable film to float on this water bodies. FLO-90 is an improved Mosquito Larvicidal Oil, has been developed for controlling mosquito larvae of Anopheles, Culex and Aedes. This oil is having excellent spreadability and improved stability of oil film over stagnant water surface. This results in excellent control over different mosquito species by adequate surface tension with a view to cut off ingress of oxygen to the water surface and killing their larvae with an optimum dosage.

Application :

  • FLO-90 is specifically recommended for pouring as Neat Oil on the stagnant water bodies. It automatically spreads quickly over the stagnant water surface. It is one of the best measures to control the mosquito related diseases like malaria, dengue, etc. through controlling breeding of larvae.
  • This product can provide a mortality rate of above 90% with a dosage of 0.05 ml in laboratory which is equivalent to dosage of 98 litres of Neat oil per hectare or 9.8 ml of oil per sq. meter in the field.
