Impeller Casing Sealing Wet-End Parts Heavy duty hard metal Impeller with typical vane profile for high efficiency and low wear. Front and rear pump out vanes reduces recirculation and improves gland sealing. Different Impeller design options are available for each volute to produce an optimum balance between wear life and efficiency. Hard metal volute liner, frame plate liner and throat bush forms volute casing, enclosed with two halves of cast iron or ductile iron casings with reinforcement ribs forms the casing assembly. An optional interchangeable rubber liner can be offered in place of hard metal liners up to certain sizes. Effective expeller prolongs packing life while reducing sealing water requirement. Mechanical seal options are also available. Mating shaft sleeve provided with engineered material for enhanced life. Application specific shaft sealing arrangement of gland packing seal, gland packing seal with expeller and mechanical seal option provides the most reliable shaft sealing. Impellers, liners, volutes are made up of high chrome or rubber (up to certain sizes) to resist wear, corrosion, erosion or impact. Parts made up of metal or rubber are interchangeable.

Bearing Assembly Bearing Frame Impeller Adjustment Shaft Sleeves Oversized heavy-duty tapper roller bearings are housed in large diameter shaft with short over hang for minimum deflection. Large robust single piece bearing frame firmly holds the cartridge type bearing and shaft assembly through four bolts. An external impeller adjustment mechanism provided below the bearing housing enable easy adjustment of impeller clearance. Replaceable shaft sleeves manufactured in either hardened or hard metal coated steel with O-rings in either ends protect shaft from abrasion or corrosion.
