EPE Foam (Expanded polyethylene foam)

Fortune EPE foam is a non cross-linked, extruded, semi-rigid, type of polyethylene foam. The base material used for its fabrication is low-density polyethylene (LDPE), processed with LPG as a blowing agent. The minute closed cells have a uniform structure available from 1 to 8 mm extruded thickness. A one-of-a-kind heat lamination process is used to build up on thickness ranging from 5 mm to 100 mm. The foam is moisture-resistant and CFC free. EPE foam is used in a number of functions and products like exercise mats, carpet underlays, lining of shoes, leather jackets, life saving jackets, sun visors for cars, upholstery, insulation of windows, etc. It serves as an excellent substitute for coir and is used in mattresses. It is also commonly used as a replacement for thermocol packaging for electronic equipment, glassware, and other fragile products. Fortune EPE is available in the form of standard rolls and sheets.
