Established by Mr.Ashok Grover, in September1987, the Company has, over the last two decades, grown to be a premier, and leading Solution Provider in the field of Information Technology. Year 1987 – Groovy Communications commenced Operations as a Business Partner of Godrej, who manufactured Dot-matrix Printers. Year 1989 – Tie up with Sterling Computers for marketing “SIVA” brand of PCs, Groovy was the second best dealer amongst 13 Dealers. Year 1993 – The Indian economy liberalized. HP and Panasonic entered India and tied up with Godrej. Groovy was again one of the first to market their products, mainly peripherals like Laser jets, Ink- Jets and Dot Matrix printers. Year 1997 – HP started Marketing PCs through Open Channel. Groovy also tied up to offer the complete range of HP Products, i.e. Servers, PCs, Plotters, Printers, Scanners and even became HP Service Providers Groovy Communications was honored as Hewlett Packard Accredited her as one of the first Direct Premium Support Providers (DPSP) and Accredited Resellers (ACR). Year 1999 – Recognized as the Preferred Peripheral Vendor as a Part of LaserJet Champion Program & were adjudged the accredited Registered Supplies Reseller (RSR) for the Consumables of Hewlett Packard.
