The company has technical collaboration with the Chenguang Research Institute of Chemical Industry, China National Blue Star Co. who has also made an equity contribution. The company is manufacturing Polymer Alloys & Blends of Engineering Plastics to meet demanding needs for specific applications. Established in the year 1996, with 30 years of vast industrial experience GPL ensures consistently high quality of both general & tailor-made blends such as Engineering Plastics, Polymer Alloys, Polymer Blends utilizing modern testing equipment & qualified personnel & can confidently meet customer's stringent requirements. The project was commissioned as Karnataka Petrosynthese Ltd at the end of November 1996 by Chinese collaborators and commercial production started in December 1996. In Dec 2002 the company was merged with Gujarat Petrosynthese Ltd and became its Polymer Blends and Alloys Division.
