Our journey commenced in 1994 on a modest farm in Balasore district, Odisha. Today, under the exceptional leadership of Mr. Himanshu Kumar Das, we have evolved into Hari Marine Pvt. Ltd., formerly known as SR Aqua Products. Our unwavering commitment to quality has guided us through significant growth, expanding from an initial 20 hectares to an impressive 36 hectares. At the helm now is Mr. Sangram Das, whose visionary leadership has led us to unparalleled success. Supported by a dedicated team of skilled professionals who have been part of our journey from the beginning, we continue to flourish. In the early 1990s, SR Aqua began its journey with a strong emphasis on organic and bio-fertilizers in its processes. From 1997 to 2015, we extended our services to assist other farmers by providing consultancy, feeds, and sustainable aquaculture guidelines. SR Aqua established two Coastal Aquaculture Authority (CAA) approved aquaculture projects, specializing in the production of healthy and antibiotic-free prawns, strictly adhering to the guidelines of the Costal Aquaculture Authority of India. Our company also distributed prawn feed manufactured by CP Aqua. Through contract farming, we supported small and marginal farmers across Odisha and West Bengal, covering up to 350 acres. Our comprehensive approach involved the supply of feed, seed, probiotics, and professional supervision by our marine biologists. This guidance enabled farmers to achieve successful and bountiful harvests while ensuring a fair market price for their products. Our journey has been marked by the fusion of traditional values with modern methods, an unwavering commitment to quality, and meeting deadlines. These principles have elevated Hari Marine to a prominent position in the world of marine food exports. A new chapter has recently begun with our ambitious project—a Mega Marine Food Exports Processing Plant near Sergarh, Balasore. This state-of-the-art facility will have the capacity to process over 10,000 MT of prawns and shrimps annually, accompanied by a cold storage capacity of 1,000 MT for finished goods. Hari Marine is on track to emerge as one of the leading exporters of high-quality seafood products in the coming years.
