About
Two technocrats started IPA in the year 1977. Their initiative was to support the industries which were heavily dependent on imports for weighing and automation and its subsequent support. Building the loadcell from a scratch was their first milestone which they accomplished with the support from NAL( National aeronautical Laboratories). By the 1980’s , they have been able to successfully replace loadcells that were at various SAIL steel plants. The next challenge was to build electronics that could support the loadcell with interfaces to control systems and also digital displays. IPA have been the pioneers for electronic weighing in India. Slowly and steadily IPA moved into the domain of material handling in cement and steel industry with their products – the weigh feeder and the batching plant. IPA also has the technology for strain guages and piezo crystal which was again transferred from NAL. Today we are an IS0-9001 certified company with numerous process installations across the globe. Our Weighing & Automation solutions work for various process industries like Cement, Steel, Power, Mining, Food, Sugar, Construction, Material Handling etc. We are known as the “House of Weighing & Automation” and our core competency lies in custom engineered weighing & automation solutions. To ensure quality service to our customers we have a nationwide network of customer support engineers. IPA also has a robust sales network across all major industrial towns in India.
