Jhatakameat.com is an initiative of Jhataka Vyavsayi Mahasangh with a vision to provide wholesome and hygienic Jhataka meat products at the doorstep of every non-vegetarian Hindu and Sikh household or to anyone consuming Jhataka meat in Bharat. Jhatka is the traditional way of slaughtering animals which was practiced in Bharat since time immemorial. In Jhataka method the animal has the least suffering when compared to other slaughtering methods. Thus consuming Jhataka meat conforms to traditional Bharatiya religions like Hinduism, Sikhism, etc. Through this we are working towards providing an opportunity to traditional butchers who lost their livelihoods due to the lack of awareness and demand for Jhataka meat. With your support, people in the Jhataka meat business can hope to be financially secure and able to support their families for a better future.
