Incorporated in the year 1971 by Mr. Krishnan as a private firm, Klene Paks was mainly engaged in the manufacture of HDPE/PP Woven Sacks. In 1983 it was taken over by Mr. Vimal Sipani, a young entrepreneur with lots of vision, a dream in his heart. And the zeal to transform the landscape of the whole Woven Sack Industry. The major strategic decision by him in 1990 was to introduce the manufacture and marketing of HDPE/PP Woven Fabric as a saleable product. He was the pre-eminent person in the whole sub-continent to revolutionize the business model of this sector. It laid the foundation for not only the expansion of the company’s business but also the emergence of numerous small and medium scale entrepreneurs and a new breed of Bag Convertors and Stitchers. It remains the most unique example for all other companies to follow till date. In his endeavor to expand the business base he started a series of expansions by way of strategic takeovers and setting up of new and modern facilities in the state of Karnataka. The company has attained steady growth in-spite of the existing competition by maintaining high quality standards and aggressive pricing policies. His dedication and innovative thinking have constantly led to the development of new products and filing of patents by the company. His passion for the environment has always encouraged him to use Eco-Friendly substitutes and additives to reduce the consumption of plastics in day-to-day life.
