Established in 1985, in Dhanbad, Jharkhand, as Mittal Polypack Private Limited (MPPL), Mittal is one of the trailblazers in the woven sacks and FIBC industry with nearly 4 decades of expertise. Envisioning a burgeoning demand in FIBC bags, Mittal Technopack Private Limited (MTPL) was set up in Kolkata, India. At present the group has an annual capacity of 14000 Metric Tonnes of FIBC and 4500 Metric Tonnes of PP woven sacks. Close to 75% of the total production is exported to nearly 40 countries around the globe including the UK, USA, Australia, Canda, Africa, Spain, and Switzerland to name a few. In recognition of our export contribution, The Government of India has accredited us with the AEO and 2-Star Export House Status. In 2020, a state-of-the-art food grade manufacturing facility was set up as MTPL Unit II and has been accredited by SGS (UK) with a AA grading in the BRCGS Food Safety Standard. In 2021, to meet exceeding customer demand, a new unit, SDRP Global Private Limited, was set up in Dhanbad. In the same year, Mittal set up the SDRP Charitable Trust to give back to the community. Mittal is currently ongoing expansion with plans to add an additional annual capacity of 5000 MT by mid 2026.
