Model Exims (India) Private Limited

Model group was first established in 1982 by Late Haji Mehboob Alam for production of vegetable tanned belt and sole leather. It was after the year 1986 that Model group started chrome tanning vital for the production of safety footwear. Chrome tanning aided the development of upholstery leather for furniture on buffalo hide. In 2011 Model Group was restructured with Model Exims being assigned to Mr Mahmood Alam and Mr Badre Alam. Model Exims was re-established as a leading supplier of finished upholstery leather. Since then Model Exims has further developed leather for shoes, belts, bags and automotive upholstery. The company also manufactures safety shoe uppers, bags and belts.
