FireKrete

FireKrete is a spray-applied, single-package, factory-controlled premix powder based on a hydraulic binder. It forms a monolithic coating capable of withstanding the thermal shocks experienced during a cellulosic fire, while also protecting concrete structures from explosive spalling. FireKrete is suitable for application on steel frames, metal floor and roof decks, return air plenums, and various concrete elements. It can be easily removed and reinstated locally when additional fixings are required. Ideal for educational, commercial, industrial, leisure, and entertainment buildings, it is designed for internal and semi-exposed environments, including areas with limited exposure during construction such as perimeter beams.
