Nilachal Refractories Limited (NRL Sirma), formerly IPITATA Refractories Ltd., came into being in 1977 as IPIBEL Refractories. It was promoted as a joint venture by Industrial Promotion Investment Corporation of Orissa Ltd. (IPICOL) and Belpahar Refractories Ltd. The company aims to cater to the growing refractories demand from the ferrous, non-ferrous, cement, petrochemical, and chemical industries, providing refractories solutions and total customer satisfaction for over 30 years. The plant is located in Central Orissa at IPITATA Nagar, Dhenkanal. Over the years, the company has been equipped with state-of-the-art production processes and a quality assurance system certified to ISO 9001:2000, with a focus on continuous improvement through strong R&D.
