"POOJA UDYOG" came into being under the stewardship of LATE SHRI GIRDHARI LAL GUPTA on 2nd October 1975, who was an acknowledged social worker and a great organizer with determination. First Pooja sewing machine saw the Market on 16th October 1975. Prompt Service After Sales ensured the products introduction in CSD in 1978. This enhanced our sales considerably and gave inspiration to manufacture fans. Since then we are top regular suppliers of sewing machines to CSD. In the Year 1988, a Private Limited Company styled as "POOJA MACHINES PRIVATE LIMITED" was promoted. The company has a dedicated team comprising of Electrical/Mechanical Engineers, Marketing Executives including Consultants working on the development of ongoing Products. Company's stringent quality control measures helped to obtain ISI Mark in 1989. With a humble sale of around 3000 sewing machines per annum in 1975, the company as on date sells around 2 Lac sewing machines per annum. A regular spadework enabled us to weave an extensive "SERVICE AFTER SALES" network throughout INDIA which is our real and remarkable strength. We are supplying Pooja sewing machines to various State Governments through our dealers. Pooja sewing machines have crossed the international barriers and are being exported to Nepal, Srilanka, Myanmar, Africa, Bangladesh to name a few. Pooja has always believed that quality is more than just a concept or a word, for us it is a complete culture. Another Company styled as "POOJA ELECTROTECH PRIVATE LIMITED" was promoted in 1992 to manufacture Automatic Voltage Controllers, Silicon Rectifiers, Ac Variable Supplies and special Purpose Transformers which cater to the needs of top industries of the country. We are an ISO 9001:2008 Certified Company. We are the only Sewing machine manufacturing company in the country to have an in-house manufacturing of plywood. We have put up another unit in Himachal Pradesh under the name of "POOJA UDYOG" to manufacture Electrical Appliances. We have been awarded with National Award for Quality Products in Small Scale Industries 2005 on 7th October 2006 by Sh.Pranab Mukherjee, Honorable Defense Minister of India.
