Kerala State Handloom Development Corporation Ltd (Hanveev) is a state-level organization established in the year 1968 for preserving the ancient craft of hand weaving and protecting artisans from the threats of power and automated looms. Over the years, Hanveev has steadily grown and established itself as a leader in the field of traditional handloom weaving. With the valuable support of the State and Central Governments, Kerala State Handloom Development Corporation Ltd (KSHDC) has taken on the important task of preserving this ancient craft of hand weaving and protecting the best interests of its registered weaving artisans. Today, Hanveev is a trusted brand known for its expertise in hand weaving, originating from Kannur (Cannanore), the land looms and lores which is a region renowned worldwide for its traditional designs and skilled craftsmanship. The dedication of our weavers and the exceptional quality of works of art has earned Hanveev a strong reputation in the domestic and international market as a genuine manufacturer of handloom products. The production process at Hanveev is managed by a team of professionally qualified staff members who oversee operations at our 32 production centers located throughout the State. These production centers employ 1950 highly skilled handloom artisans who collectively produce approximately 1.5 million meters of hand-woven fabrics each year.
