Market Access Initiative reimburses exporters for participation in international trade fairs, B2B portals, market studies, and brand building in target markets. Operated via Export Promotion Councils.

Who qualifies
Indian exporters (manufacturers + merchants) who are members of recognised Export Promotion Councils. Minimum 3 years of export experience preferred. Project must align with target market focus area.

How to apply
- 1Identify event from MAI-approved calendar of EPC
- 2Apply via EPC at least 60 days before event
- 3Submit proposal: budget, target markets, expected outcomes
- 4EPC forwards to Ministry of Commerce for approval
- 5Post-event: submit utilisation certificate + export leads
Key terms and conditions
- Reimbursement is post-event with proof of expenditure
- Minimum buyer meetings per fair (typically 20+)
- Submission of export leads + business booked within 12 months
What disqualifies you
- Non-EPC members ineligible — join an EPC first
- Fairs not on the approved calendar excluded
- Repeat reimbursement for same event capped at 3 times
