About this scheme
National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) — a Government of India enterprise under Ministry of MSME — runs the Marketing Support Scheme to enhance the marketing capabilities of MSEs. Key components include free issuance of tender sets, exemption from EMD/Performance Security for public-sector procurement, MSME Status certification, and consortium-based participation in large tenders that individual MSEs cannot bid for alone.
What you get
- Free tender sets from Government departments and PSUs
- EMD exemption for tenders floated by Government/PSUs
- Performance security exemption (full or partial)
- Listing in NSIC vendor database — visible to all Government buyers
- Consortium formation — small units can together bid for large tenders
- Marketing assistance: brochures, B2B portal, virtual exhibitions
- Trade fair participation: subsidised space rental at national and international fairs
