About
Seshasayee Paper and Boards Limited (SPB) is the flagship company of the SPB-ESVIN GROUP, operating an integrated pulp, paper, and paperboard mill. Incorporated in June 1960, SPB commenced commercial production in December 1962 with a 20,000 tpa integrated facility in its Erode unit. Over the decades, the company has undergone several expansions and modernizations, including setting up a captive power plant, a major mill development plan to improve environmental compliance, and acquiring a sick unit in Tirunelveli which was successfully turned around. SPB has also ventured into multi-layer boards and is undertaking further expansion projects. The company is committed to manufacturing quality papers using environmentally benign raw materials and technology.
