In the year Dec – 1996 the Government of India stopped cutting of trees in the North East region and the Timber and Plywood Manufacturer / Traders had to shift their operation to other states in India. Import of timber logs had already started in Kandla / Gandhidham, quantity and quality timber logs available in this area. Thus many of the manufacturers of Plywood and Veneer shifted to Kandla / Gandhidham complex. The CPL Group also sensed the opportunity to venture in the manufacture of Plywood / Veneer and a manufacturing facility with the objective to create a market in the Plywood / Veneer trade under the Brand name of CPL was initiated In the last 20 year various optical of timber logs were readily available in good quantity & quality in this area number of products like Laminate, Formaldehyde, Resin, Sanitary Napkin extra and have achieved great success in the market. Since it’s inception the [CPL] Group is active in the Forest / Timber business rooted from Jhelum (Now in Pakistan). After Partition all the forest / timber business shifted from Jhelum to Jagadri, Thus CPL group also moved its headquarter to Yamunanagar(Jagadhri). As the forestry was nationalized, CPL Group moves to Delhi and started spreading wings to cater the PAN Indian Market. The group has opened a branch office in Gandhidham (Kutch), Gujarat to emphasis the import of timber logs to Kandla Port. With the guidance of our expert mentors and founders company reported the growth year by year with import from various countries like Burma, Malaysia, New Zealand etc. With best performance and sheer networking expertise the group has decided to start a new manufacturing facility for the commercial face veneer of Gurjan wood from Burma. The company established new unit with best machinery and infrastructure to produce plywood of ultimate quality. The company started Manufacturing of Formal Dehyde Chemical. The Company has started manufacturing commercial and waterproof resin (glue). The Company Started Manufacturing Sanitary Napkins. We have installed manufacturing plant to manufacture (HPL) Interior Decorative Laminates. Launched decorative natural veneer.
