Snoozer Bedding Limited was founded in 1994 by an engineer who, after experiencing exceptional comfort at a resort abroad, was inspired to create similar mattresses in India. Initially manufacturing small batches of pocket coil mattresses, the company gained recognition when The Oberoi Rajvilas became the first hotel in India to use Snoozer mattresses in 1996. By 2004, Snoozer became the preferred choice for most Five Star hotel chains in India due to word-of-mouth referrals. The company expanded into the premium retail market in 2008, focusing on an experiential sales approach. In 2017, Snoozer established a large, state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in Himachal Pradesh. The company launched its all-natural luxury mattress line, Pranasleep, in 2022, and introduced comfortable Bed Sets in 2024. Snoozer remains a niche brand committed to quality, durability, and affordability without relying on celebrity endorsements or hype.
