SURFACE PREPARATION
Surface must be free of dust /loose particles, grease, mould oil, rust metal, wood peels, paints and plastics.
Pre-wetting of substrate: Surface must be dampened / moistened before the application of GREMOR.
MIXING AND APPLICATION
18-20% water (by weight of material) is required for mixing. Mixing can be done either manually or with mechanical mixer/stirrer. The material should be applied within 2 hours of preparation. The Plaster can be applied by hand or spray machine to the required thickness. Product is designed in a such way that, it can be applied even up to 20mm thick in a single coat / Layer.
CURING
Natural air curing is enough. However, water mist is required under extremely hot or dry condition ( at least three times a day for initial three days. Generally, water mist can be initiated if temperature levels exceeds 38ºC ..ref Building Code Requirements for Masonry Structures (ACI 530/ASCE 5/TMS 402) [Ref. 6], table 1)
Storage and Packaging
SPEED DRY MIX - GREMOR is delivered in 40Kg bag. Storage life is six months if the product is stored in a dry place
HEALTH AND SAFETY
- Recommend to wear NIOSH approved or equivalent particulate face mask when mixing the material.
- Material contains cement, which may produce an allergic effect.
- Keep out of reach of children
- Material may cause irritation to eyes and skin. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical assistance. Avoid contact with eyes and prolonged contact with skin.
