Sona Masoori

Sona Masoori is a premium kind of rice. It is a medium-grain and aromatic white rice. It is usually sweet-smelling rice which is low in starch content. This version of white rice is healthier than basmati. It is not as polished as some other available white rice and therefore, retains slightly more nutrients. This rice provides protein and is free from both fat and sodium. It is ideal for preparing dishes like sweet Pongal, biryani, fried rice, and daily cooking.
