Description
People who miss having rice due to health reasons now have something to cheer about. We have a low glycemic index (GI) rice variety that goes by RNR-15048 moniker. Food with a low GI value (55 or less) is more slowly digested, absorbed and metabolized and cause a lower and slower rise in blood glucose levels. This Rice variety has a low Glycemic index of 51 and 5% more protein compared to normal Sona Masoori rice which has a Glycemic index of 71. RNR-15048 variety of rice is extremely useful for diabetic people and obese people.
