Idli Rava is coarsely ground boiled rice. It is also known as the cream of rice. It is a coarser product prepared by grinding and sieving through the mesh. It has a good supply of vital vitamins and minerals. Idli is a healthy South Indian breakfast. It one of the favourite breakfast options in the Southern states of India and also across the world. Idli is a soft, steamed savoury rice cake. Idli Rava is granulated rice (or Rava) which mixed with split black gram (urad dal) batter to make idlis. The Idli made with Idli Rava is little coarse and grainy in texture. It can also be used to make Dosa or uthappam.
