Description

A Common Effluent Treatment Plant (CEPT) for the cluster of tanneries at Dindigul. It is comprised of conventional treatment units such as Equalization tank, Primary clarifier, Aeration tank, Secondary clarifier etc. It also implements CSIR-CLRI Project “Upflow Anaerobic Sludge Reactor with Sulfur Recovery system” and Membrane System for water recovery and Multi Effect Evaporator for reject management system. Diluted Effluent is diluted with treated municipal sewage with adopting dilution ratio and standards prescribed by TNPC board.
