Trivolt Automobiles may be a young name in the electric two-wheeler industry, but our roots run deep. Our journey began not today, but way back in 1947—when India gained independence, and millions of families were displaced during the Partition. Among them was our founder, Late Shri Ravindra Kumar Dhamija, who, like many others, left his home in Punjab (now in Pakistan) and came to Kanpur in search of life beyond war, bloodshed, and loss. Starting as a refugee with nothing but determination, he began working as a foreman in a workshop, earning only 72 a month. Yet, his resilience turned struggle into opportunity. In 1961, he set up his own workshop and soon brought his dreams to life by creating agricultural machinery-most notably the Poha Machine. Under the name Adarsh Brand, his vision grew into a company that manufactured innovative agricultural equipment and proudly exported “Made in India” products to countries around the world. As generations changed, so did the vision of the company. The Group expanded from agriculture to new frontiers. In 2014, the group entered the electric mobility sector by manufacturing E-rickshaws under the brand Ashvashakti and automotive parts like differentials for EVs under the brand RV. Today, Trivolt Automobiles is the next leap forward. More than just an EV company, Trivolt is a belief that the future of mobility is not the monopoly of a few large corporations. With courage, innovation, and the spirit of an MSME, we aim to redefine India’s automobile landscape. From refugee struggles to global exports, from humble beginnings to electric revolutions, our story is proof that dreams backed with determination can drive history forward.
