As a forerunner who spearheaded the growth of the fireworks industry in India, Vadivel is honored to celebrate its 75th anniversary this year. Since its inception as the sole proprietor of Vadivel Fireworks in 1945, the group stands tall as a leader in producing quality fireworks. We take pride in coming up with some of the ground-breaking innovations that transformed the industry and appealed to the masses. With safety being our primary concern, Vadivel became one of the first fireworks manufacturers in the country to be certified by ISO and recognized by Guardian Independent Certification and by Joint Accreditation System of Australia & New Zealand. Started in the year 1937 as Premier Fireworks, a partnership firm, Vadivel braved all odds to be the leading consumer fireworks brand in India. We were one of the prime indigenous pyro companies that ventured into the market during the British rule. Vadivel Fireworks withstood the economic struggles of the country in the 1960s and thrived to become Vadivel Pyrotechs in 1998. At present, Vadivel operates as the largest firecracker manufacturer in India that also has a steadfast mark in consumer electronics, chemical processing, printing and packaging, and academia.
