Description
A guide shoe is used in combination with a float collar in the casing string for conventional cementing operations and is installed at the bottom joint of casing. The guide shoe through bore permits evacuation of tubes, conversion balls and debris from the casing without obstruction. Guide shoe is useful in Load bearing capability for setting on bottom. Rounded cement bull nose allows for smooth running and provides the ability to guide past ledges. It is PDC drillable and composite eccentric nose available.
