Vilvah began in 2017, in Kruthika's home kitchen with a goat milk soap she made for her daughter's eczema-prone skin. What started as a personal solution soon found its way into many homes through word of mouth and trust. These years shaped our roots: our first store in Coimbatore, a growing R&D team, a Nykaa launch, and sustainability becoming part of how we think, not just how we pack. The pandemic hit just as we opened our second store in Chennai. But, it also strengthened our resolve to stand by our people & community. We supported frontline workers with essentials, ensured the well-being of our team, and continued building quietly behind the scenes. By 2022, we moved into a 25,000 sq. ft. green facility, expanded our retail presence, launched our Signature Milk Series, and were recognised as India’s Fastest Growing D2C Start-up. This was when we expanded globally, reached new markets and countries, and saw an overwhelming response to our Milk Series, emerging as India’s first milk-based skin and hair care brand. We also grew closer to home, opening retail stores across Tirupur, Bangalore, and Kochi, while continuing to work closely with local farmers and Farmer Producer Organisations to support their value-added produce and sustainable livelihoods.
