Primarily, a clutch and brake manufacturer for the industrial machine drives. VORTEX is fast establishing itself in electromagnetic clutch drives for special automotive transmissions and electromagnetic braking solutions for modern electric machines, apart from becoming an accepted name for its industrial clutch and brake products in the western markets. Simultaneously the clairvoyant management has been instrumental in developing new clutch and brake product lines to cater to the new demands of the evolving markets. VORTEX produces electromagnetic, pneumatic, and mechanical clutches and brakes for a variety of applications ranging from the industrial to the automotive sectors. VORTEX now has a close co-operation with M/S BARUFFALDI S.P.A of Italy for electromagnetic drive solutions for control of vehicle engine driven auxiliaries. Additionally, VORTEX also operates a Joint-venture with M/S KNOTT GmBH of Germany, working to introduce several lines of brake and brake actuation systems for the world off-highway machinery and vehicle market. VORTEX, as an extension to its manufacturing activities, also operated a trading division to promote the products of its partner principles from Europe. This includes the line of economy and precision gear-heads, high-low speed drives, hysteresis clutch & brake line, the highly compact line of ultra-precision servo reduction drives, etc.
