About this scheme

Announced in Union Budget 2026-27 (1 Feb 2026): a dedicated ₹10,000 crore SME Growth Fund to provide equity support to enterprises meeting select criteria and "create future Champions", alongside a further ₹2,000 crore for the Self-Reliant India Fund (which invests through SEBI-registered funds). Operating guidelines and the application route had not been notified as of 18 Aug 2026 — this entry exists so manufacturers know it is coming; we will update it when the scheme opens.
