Description

Our manufacturing and distillery operations are power intensive. We have, therefore, set up a co-generation unit to ensure reduced dependence on outside sources of electricity. Our co-generation unit uses the by-product from our sugar manufacturing i.e. bagasse, as the primary raw material. We also sell the surplus power generated over and above our captive consumption to a state electricity distribution company. We have a co-generation capacity of 26.5 megawatts.
