Description

Filewel MR 25-S is a solid wire designed for submerged arc welding of low-alloy steels employed for high temperature stress deformation resistance up to 700C. This wire can be used for building up of worn-out components made of tool steels. It can also be used for reconditioning of marine valves of higher Cr-Mo grades. The weld deposit is a low-alloy steel with excellent resistance to deformation under high stresses and elevated working temperatures. This wire is suitable for fabrication of steam superheaters and processors for elevated temperature service up to 700C. It can also be used for fabrication of components with 21/4 Cr- 1Mo alloy steels. It can be used for repair welding of moulds with higher alloy content, repairing steam boliers.
