Description

Filwel Buildup 105 is a wire designed for rebuilding/overlaying by submerged arc welding. The resultant weld deposit is a loy-alloy steel with excellent resistance to deformation under high stresses and can withstand elevated working temperatures. This makes the wire suitable for overlaying application on rolls and components made of carbon and alloy steels under such service conditions. Applications include welding and build-up of shafts, DI pipe moulds, press rolls, vessels and components of carbon and low-alloy steel condensers and boilers.
