Description
Filwel Buildup is an Iron based low alloy cored wire designed for buildup having excellent resistance to deformation under high stresses and at elevated working temperatures. This makes the wire suitable for repairs of ductile iron pipe moulds, fabrication of steam superheaters for elevated service temperature up to 550C, crude oil processors, pressure vessels, condensers and boilers. It can be used for reconditioning of marine valves. The wire can also be used for building up of worn out components made of low alloy steels and as a bugger layer prior to hardfacing.
