Designed for submerged arc welding of low-alloy steels employed for high-temperature stress deformation resistance
Weld deposit is a low-alloy steel with excellent resistance to deformation under high stresses and elevated working temperatures
Used for reconditioning of marine valves and in the fabrication of steam superheaters and processors for elevated temperature service upto 550C, crude oil processors and condensers
Can also be used for repair welding of moulds of low alloy steels
Description
Filwel MR-150 is a solid wire designed for submerged arc welding of low-alloy steels employed for high-temperature stress deformation resistance. The weld deposit is a low-alloy steel with excellent resistance to deformation under high stresses and elevated working temperatures making it the best choice for this application. It is used for reconditioning of marine valves and in the fabrication of steam superheaters and processors for elevated temperature service upto 550C, crude oil processors and condensers. It can also be used for repair welding of moulds of low alloy steels.
